Where is Tucan Penthouse?
The picture above was taken before construction began. On the right hand of the picture, between the rest of the houses and the golf Hole #6 are the Forest Towers. They are on the highest point of the housing area of Tucan Country Club, on top of a hill, that gives Tucan Penthouse an exclusive view of the City, the entrance to the Panama Canal, the new Cocoli canal locks, and the port of Balboa.
Tucan Penthouse is located inside the Tucan Golf and Country Club. It is a unique location, about 10-15 minutes from Avenida Balboa or from the Albrook Mall, yet away from all the traffic and the congestion in Panama City. It is about 5 minutes from Panama Pacifico, where you can find the special Area, with the Panama Pacifico airport, a variety of offices, banks, a Riba Smith supermarket, a Novey hardware store, several international schools, restaurants, a gas station, dry cleaners, pharmacy, and other conveniences.
In addition to the golf course, Tucan includes several swimming pools, tennis, outdoor exercise equipment, a large children’s playground, fully equipped gym, barbeque and social areas, a large indoor events room, and many walking trails, in a totally secure and relaxing environment.
Future construction of 4th Bridge
The construction of a new bridge over the Panama Canal has started. This bridge will greatly decongest the Bridge of the Americas and will make traveling to Panama City and to the Albrook Mall even faster. The bridge is expected to have 3 lanes in each direction, plus a lane for emergency vehicles, and the 3rd Metro line connection the Albrook Station to Panama Oeste. As shown in the diagram, the bridge goes between the Albrook Mall and the Panamerican Highway near the current Veracruz exit.
Concurrent with the 4th Bridge mega-project, the road between the Bridge of the Americas and Arraijan is being completely re-done to make it faster and wider. This road will also be 3 names in each direction, with new intersections for Veracruz, the 4th Bridge and most important, for Panama Pacifico and Cocoli. The 3rd Metro Line will have a station in the Panama Pacifico and Cocoli intersection, within walking distance of the Tucan Country Club entrance.
